Už 22. rokem předávala MTV ceny na svých Video Music Awards. Letos se tato událost uskutečnila poslední srpnový den již tradičně v newyorské Radio City Music Hall. Kdo z vás doma chytá MTV, mohl během večera vidět vystupovat Beyonce, Bustu, T.I., Ludacrise, Pharrella, Missy Elliott nebo Fergie.
Jen dodám, že nominace se vztahovaly na všechny videoklipy z období 1. července 2005 až 30. června 2006, a rovnou vám předložím seznam vítězů (tučně) a poražených těch kategorií, v nichž mohl vyhrát některý hip-hopový nebo R&B interpret.
